The Charlotte Gift & Jewelry Show was organized in June of 1953 by Mr. Earl H. Mahone, Jr. and soon became one of the strongest regional shows in the country. After outgrowing Radio Center in Charlotte (1963), the show was moved to its current home, the Charlotte Merchandise Mart.

Mahone Associates has since launched The National Motorsports Merchandise Show, The Jewelry Show, both in Charlotte, NC, and the Charleston Gift and Jewelry Market in Charleston, SC.

The National Motorsports Merchandise Show is held twice a year and runs concurrently with the Charlotte Gift & Jewelry Show in January and September. This show features NASCAR collectibles, WWF Collectibles, Racing Apparel and Die Cast items.

The Myrtle Beach Jewelry, Apparel and Accessories Show is housed at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Founded in April of 2006, the Myrtle Beach show is a buyer's and exhibitor's dream come true. While at the show, attendees can step down to the boardwalk and dance the Shag, a dance born in Myrtle Beach and described as “Southern tradition of style and grace. Shopping the unique shops of the Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing or the many “outlet” complexes gives new meaning to “Shop till ya drop”. If golf is your game, then let's face it, Myrtle Beach is the place. There are nearly 120 Myrtle Beach golf courses in the Grand Strand area. Some of the countries most beautiful and challenging courses are right here waiting for you. Many of Myrtle Beach’s golf courses were designed by the greats, such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Francis Duane. And of "course" there are plenty of places available for the beginner as well. Myrtle Beach is a perfect place to combine business with pleasure.

All shows run three days (Saturday, Sunday 9am- 5pm and Monday 9am- 3pm). Each show has an order writing and cash and carry section, with the exception of the Jewelry Show which is entirely cash and carry.
